Bentonite Clay Dryer Wide Application
The bentonite drying equipment is widely used in building materials, metallurgy, mineral processing, chemical industry, cement and other industries. It is applicable for drying bentonite, kaolin, coal slag, limestone, clay, bauxite, river sand, quartz sand, water slag and other materials with high humidity and high specific gravity.
Main Components of Bentonite Drying System
The complete bentonite drying system is mainly composed of hot air stove, belt feeder, dispersing device, rotary drum dryer, belt discharger, induced draft fan, cyclone dust remover, bag type dust remover (or wet dust remover) and operation control system.
Bentonite Drying Machine Working Principle
Bentonite is crushed by the dispersal feeding device, and then sent to the drum dryer through the screw feeder. Then, it is quickly guided to the inclined lifting area through the large angle guide plate. With the rotation and the inclination of the cylinder, the material is lifted from the bottom to the top of the drum, forming a “material curtain”. The high-temperature flue gas (entering the drying drum at the same end of the wet material) passes through the bentonite, preheating the wet material and evaporate some water. At the same time, the temperature of high-temperature flue gas drops rapidly, and the preheated wet materials enter the medium temperature drying stage, where most of the water is evaporated. With the repeated mixing and exchange of materials and flue gas, the materials are discharged from the drying drum after reaching the heat balance and meeting the moisture requirements for the materials.
