Due to the small specific gravity and good fiber quality of bagasse, the boards produced by bagasse are high in strength and light in weight, free from biological damage, low in water absorption and free from corrosion by seawater. It has good fire resistance, good flame retardancy, good machining performance and decorative performance, so it is suitable for furniture, building, carriage, ship and other manufacturing industries.
