Brewers Yeast Dryer Introduction
Brewers yeast dryer is a kind of single cylinder drum dryer, which can be used for drying many kinds of slurry, especially suitable for the recycling of waste yeast in brewery. Brewer’s yeast dryer heats the materials by indirect conduction without the heat loss taken away by the drying medium, so the heat utilization rate is high, and the energy consumption is low. The low temperature and fast drying process is adopted to ensure the biological activity of dried materials.

Beer Yeast Drying Machine Structure
Beer yeast drying machine is mainly composed of drying cylinder, frame, transmission system, scraper device, material limiting device, scraping device, dipping device, steam circuit system, electrical control cabinet and vapor exhaust hood.
How does the Beer Yeast Dryer Work?
Driven by the transmission device, the drying cylinder rotates around the axial direction and the speed can be adjusted. The slurry is preheated in the preheating tank to about 50 ℃. With the material pump into the lower dip tank of the drying cylinder, the cylinder is immersed in about 60-80mm. The outer surface of the rotating cylinder will be evenly coated with a layer of slurry (i.e. material thickness). The steam pressure in the dryer is 0.15-0.3Mpa. The slurry is heated on the outer wall of the drying cylinder, and the moisture is vaporized and discharged by the fan. The drying cylinder rotates for one turn to complete the material drying, and the dried material is discharged by the scraper on the outer wall of the drying cylinder, falling to the discharge port for collection.
