Screw extruding dehydrator is a continuous squeezing solid-liquid dewatering machine, which is applicable to the dehydration of materials with a moisture content of 80%, such as kitchen waste, brewer’s grains, fruit residues, tea leaves, cassava residues, etc. It can remove about 20% of the water in the dregs materials, greatly reducing the burden of the rotary dryer. Working Principle of Screw Extrusion Dehydrator
The screw extruding dehydrator is composed of feed box, conical screw, water filtering frame, water filtering cage, machine base, speed regulating motor, reducer, gearbox and other parts. After the start of the screw extruding dehydrator, the high humidity materials to be dehydrated are evenly added from the feed box. The materials are pushed by the spiral rotating blades to move along the axial direction towards the discharge end. Under the action of the huge extrusion force of the variable screw pitch, screw and regulating baffle, the materials complete the mechanical dehydration. The water is discharged at the water outlet through the screen, and the dehydrated material is discharged at the discharge box.
